It is the first year of project running and we already succeeded in restoring the rare dry grassland habitats. One of the first project localitites which was restored through grazing in Fabiánka, part of the biggest karst plain in Slovakia – the Silicka plain. In many areas in this locality grazing was abandoned and has been absend for several decades so the localities have owergrown with shrubs. We support the local farmers in restoring these traditional pastures. With the help of sheep, goats and cattle we will slowly transform these places into beautiful blooming pastures.
