In the end of March 2017 a monitoring of amphibians started in different localities of restored wetlands. In several places an occurence of rare species was confirmed – The European fire-bellied toad (Bombina bombina) and The Danube crested newt (Triturus dobrogicus). According to the collected and evaluated data about amphibians we will be able to see the influence of restoring interventions on populations of these species and also on the whole habitats.
