The ground squirrel team is working hard on clearing the beautiful, grike ground squirrel field in Tisovec, abundant with rocks and biodiversity. They remove blackthorns, cut down shrubs, and they do all of this sensitively. Every praying mantis cocoon that is found is transferred to the rocks to avoid damage. And you know who is also part of the team?
Donkeys. They are even better at suppressing shrubs than goats.
