The site, called Krajina \u017eiv\u00e1<\/em>, will be launched soon, and farmers who practice extensive grazing\u2014keeping fewer animals or grazing over large areas\u2014will be able to join gradually. In this way, they contribute to the biodiversity of the agricultural landscape.\r\n\r\nwww.krajinaziva.sk<\/a>\r\n

The website is not new; it has been operating for quite some time and is widely used among livestock farmers.<\/p>\r\n \r\n

However, it has received a new, more modern look, and we are also updating some of the information on it. These updates and the management of the website are being carried out thanks to the LIFE Subpannonic project.<\/p>\r\n \r\n

Agricultural land\u2014our fields and pastures\u2014makes up as much as 51% of Slovakia\u2019s total area. That is why it is very important how we manage it, so that we can preserve the health of the soil and nature for future generations and continue to produce high-quality, healthy food with respect for the environment.
