{"id":32933,"date":"2024-03-15T16:54:38","date_gmt":"2024-03-15T15:54:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/broz.sk\/we-are-nominated-among-the-27-finalists-in-the-natura-2000-award-2024\/"},"modified":"2024-03-15T16:55:31","modified_gmt":"2024-03-15T15:55:31","slug":"we-are-nominated-among-the-27-finalists-in-the-natura-2000-award-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/broz.sk\/en\/we-are-nominated-among-the-27-finalists-in-the-natura-2000-award-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"We are nominated among the 27 finalists in the NATURA 2000 Award 2024!"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\">[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We are proud to announce that we have been nominated among the 27 finalists in the European competition NATURA 2000 Award 2024!<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A total of 107 organizations participated in this edition within 96 applications in five different categories:<\/span>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Conservation on land<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Marine conservation<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Communication<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Working together for nature<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cross-border cooperation<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<strong>A special category is the Citizens\u2019 Award, in which <a href=\"https:\/\/environment.ec.europa.eu\/topics\/nature-and-biodiversity\/natura-2000-award\/natura-2000-award-meet-2024-edition-finalists_en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">you can also vote for our project<\/a>.<\/strong>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We participated in the competition by presenting our achievements and cooperation with partner organizations in the field of <a href=\"https:\/\/broz.sk\/en\/why-is-the-simulated-flood-necessary-this-early-in-the-spring\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">improving the regime of simulated floods in the Danube floodplains.<\/a> Together with BROZ, the partners of the competition application are the Water Research Institute, State Nature Conservancy of the Slovak Republic and Water Management Construction, state enterprise.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The five winners selected by the jury will be announced at the award ceremony in Brussels on May 29, 2024.
