[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The autumn days from October 11th to 13th were marked by an active exchange of experiences in the management of valuable biotopes, where grazing is well combined with nature conservation. Together with stakeholders from Life-Subpannonic and Life-South, we embarked on a field trip to Hortob\u00e1gy National Park.<\/span>\r\n\r\nThe natural values and ecosystem services of Hortob\u00e1gy were introduced to us by experienced environmentalist Zolt\u00e1n Ecsedi from the Hortob\u00e1gy Environmental Association. At the same time, we also visited several local farms. We discussed the characteristics of animal husbandry in Hortob\u00e1gy, grazing methods, as well as the features of raising cattle breeds such as Black Angus, Magyar Sz\u00fcrke Marha, water buffaloes, and Hortob\u00e1gy Racka sheep.<\/span>\r\n\r\nFor the inspiring October days filled with creative discussions, we want to express our gratitude to the diverse range of participants, including farmers from the Levice to Kr\u00e1\u013eovsk\u00fd Chlmec, employees of the State protection of Narure of Slovak Republic, district offices, and the Forests of the Slovak Republic, as well as the mayors of municipalities!<\/span>[\/vc_column_text]
