[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]\r\nDo you know where is the locality named Pieskovcov\u00e9 chrbty?<\/span>\r\n\r\nAs our volunteer from geocaching community said about this locality \u201ethere are no geocaches here! \u201c. However, the geocaches are really missing here, there is a\u00a0beautiful undulating landscape of Cerov\u00e1 Vrchovina and its rare biodiversity. However, we as organisation are mainly focused on Bratislava region, we also concentrate the attention on other parts of Slovakia to help nature. Moreover, thanks to <\/span>LIFE Subpannonic<\/span><\/a>\u00a0 project we have revived the abandoned pastures for over 30 years near Jesensk\u00e9 (district Rimavsk\u00e1 Sobota). The locality became a\u00a0part of\u00a0<\/span>Natura 2000<\/span><\/a> network namely as Site of Community Importance Pieskovcov\u00e9 chrbty because of rare dry pasture habitats and species.\u00a0<\/span>\r\n\r\nSo far, we fight way through many barriers in grazing return to most parts of this locality, we performed the reduction of overgrown shrubs and trees on small parts. Together with Administration of Landscape Protected Area Cerov\u00e1 Vrchovina, volunters and geocachers from <\/span>OZ Permon\u00edci<\/span><\/a>, we reduced the wood species overgrown from hill with occurence of pasque flowers in Dr\u0148a.\u00a0<\/span>\r\n\r\nThis activity would never happen without B\u00e1lint family, that has farm few metres from Site of Community Importance Pieskovcov\u00e9 chrbty. They helped not only with wood species reducing, but they are also going to graze cattle on managed locality.
