  • suppression of the succession of shrubs species<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t
  • restoration through the dispersal of plant seeds by animal fur and faeces<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t
  • support of specific animal species \u2013 the faeces of larger animals provide conditions for a number of beatles species that serve as a food base for various birds<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t
  • effective suppression of invasive and allergenic plants, e.g. goldenrod <\/span>(Solidago <\/span><\/i>spp<\/span>.), <\/span><\/i>wormwood (<\/span>Artemisia<\/span><\/i> spp.) and ragweed (<\/span>Ambrosia<\/span><\/i> spp.)<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t
  • increasing the quantity and diversity of the food supply for Sand Martins (<\/span>Riparia riparia<\/span><\/i>), European Bee-eaters\u00a0 (<\/span>Merops apiaster<\/span><\/i>) but also other insectivorous birds<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t
