The day saw a lot of action, sawing, falling wood.. Even nature conservation and sustainable management of the countryside can sometimes look this way.\r\nFor old willows pollarding is essential to prolog their life-span. Willows have an incredible ability to rejuvenate and new branches will shoot out this year already creating the typical willow head.
