Our mission is to conserve valuable nature areas, to stop habitat degradation and\r\n<\/span><\/span>biodiversity loss – one of the biggest challenges of our time.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h3>\r\n
<\/div>Our activities are aimed in particular to protect and restore the nature of the Bratislava region and south-western<\/span><\/span><\/span>
Slovakia, in particular in the Danube region, the Little and White Carpathians, in Z<\/span>\u00e1<\/span><\/span>horie, but also in Bratislava and other<\/span><\/span><\/span>
valuable Slovakian sites.<\/span><\/span>
We promote traditional forms of landscape management such as extensive livestock grazing or pruning and using<\/span><\/span><\/span>
pollarded willows which have a favourable impact on the conservation of animal and plant species richness.<\/span><\/span>
We cooperate with various institutions from the<\/span> fi<\/span><\/span>eld of nature protection, forest, and water management, as well as<\/span><\/span><\/span>
Slovak and foreign universities.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
By means of environmental education we promote the importance of nature protection and develop the relationship of<\/span><\/span><\/span>
the public towards nature, from the youngest children to seniors. This is done through organising excursions, lectures,<\/span><\/span><\/span>
