Today we completed the revitalization of the lower part of the Čiližský stream with the final dig. 💧
It was done following a number of measures we have taken to gradually improve the flow of this important 35 km long stream in the Danube region. Until these days the Čiližský stream ended blindly, the last kilometres were clogged and stagnant and the water was overflowing into the drainage channel nearby. We got the lower section moving and with the help of a 400 meter channel/new riverbed we also flooded approximately 40 hectares of wetland in the middle of the fields with water from the stream.
